Trust & Safety
Guardians hold the account.
Children do not independently control the legal relationship. Access, age, and communication follow the organization and the guardian.
Guardian accounts
A parent or guardian holds the relationship for a child. Athletes do not create the legal account on their own.
Under 13
Those athletes do not sign themselves up. A guardian creates the record.
Role-based access
Organization roles and team roles are separate. A person can hold both, and each role sees only what it is allowed to see.
Consent and privacy
Youth teams stay private. Emergency contacts and private documents stay off public pages until a guardian and the organization approve what can be shown.
Communication
Staff cannot privately message a minor unless the organization allows it and a verified guardian is on the thread.
